Baptism is how we respond to Jesus's transformative power in our lives. It symbolizes how we as Christians join in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Romans 6:3-4) The word “baptized” is translated in the Greek as “to submerge”. This is why at Hills Church we submerge people under the water during baptism.

Whether you just started your journey with Christ or you are finally ready to publicly profess and celebrate your faith, we want to be here for you.

We would love for you to make your public profession of faith with us at Hills Church during one of our services on Sunday, February 8th.

For children 11 years and younger, we have an age appropriate baptism process that helps them to understand what baptism is and why they're doing it. Please send an email to Michelle Stotts our Hills Kids Director at mstotts@hillschurchnm.com and she will walk through the process with you and your child..
